In 1934 Phafag
Co. Ltd. sets up its chemical and pharmaceutical works in Schaan in
the Principality of Liechtenstein. Manufacture and sale of soaps,
baby powder, and massage oil. Phafag was the first company to launch
baby oil on the market in place of powder. In 1980 the production switched to pharmaceutically active substances and finished preparations development of manufacturing methods for synthesising pharmaceutically active substances. Manufacture of such substances on a pilot scale. In 1995 a new and modern production plant in Schaanwald, Liechtenstein, permits manufacture of substances and preparations in accordance with PIC (Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention) guidelines. Phafag is inspected by Swiss medic and national authority (GMP Certificate).
